MacGregor recently picked up an order for two double-telescopic service cranes and a telescopic stores crane to go on the Frederick Paup, a self-propelled trailing hopper dredge being built for the Manson Construction Co., Seattle, at Keppel AmFELS shipyard in Brownsville, Texas.

The two larger cranes, model HP120-100T2, are 80’ when stored and 120’ extended. The safe working load at 120’ is about 3,900 lbs. and 108,000 lbs. at its minimum reach. The stores crane, model HP50-15T, is a single telescopic crane going from 32’ out to 50’. The cranes should be delivered to Keppel AmFELS by the end of the year.
